not from cold weather either, it's been 60-85 night and day for the plants whole life... pretty cool!!
it's not as noticeable in the pics i just noticed, but it's def purple, from the top 3 nodes up, the stems are deep purple.. it's really pretty!
i'm hoping it's not a sign of defeciency, i dont have any fancy stuff to check hehe, i AM using a new soil mix this year, i guess we'll see, hope i dont lose it, it's a pretty one, bout to stretch out and branch, so far it's right on track with last year, we'll see i guess, cheers! picked up a half of some DANK stuff yesterday bout to smoke a big bowl and go for a hike to check on her today...
Yeah, looks more like early signs of a nute problem, maybe a PH related lockout or a deficiency in the soil. Look at the leaves, they're starting to have some burns. I've got the same purple stems on blue dream and even worse on canatonic and just recently I've been getting rust spots and brown blotches. My temps are pretty stable, and PH is alright, but it fluctuates a little too far sometimes.
thanks for the info, i'm keeping a close eye for now, we just got a couple days of rain, so i'm not gonna flush it yet.. growth really exploded in the high humidity the last couple days, the purple is still there, it's kind of turned more "pink" but the new growth looks healthy... i did go a little heavy on the teas last time i fed it, but i haven't fed since then, maybe i stressed it a little hence the burns/rust spots... i'm gonna post pics in this thread for the next few days to document what's happening, if you have time i'd love more input
