its not that complicated and not that expensive.all you need is florescents all pupose potting soil and patience. keep floros as close as possible will not burn leaves.as far as watering plant its just by the touch of the soil.temperture between 70 to 80 is fine.defenitley buy a timer veg 18/6 and flowering 12/12.you might want to get some miracle grow.all this will cost around 40 bucks go to wal-mart.if you want to go cheap and get a hps or met halide much better go to home depot and convert a floodlight it runs around 75 dollars.GOOD LUCK
