I've been looking for a cheap but yet dependable 1000w system with a fixture that can be hooked up to a vent and every thing that looks dependable and has a warranty for 5 years cost over 400 or more. can i find a system for around 250-350 anywhere?
go to 1000bulb.com, you might need some basic electronic skills but you can get them for 120 a ballast and 27 bucks for the hps bulbs. I have been using 3 of them for a year and see no difference between them and the high dollar ones at the hydro shop, bulb is made by pulsrite, both are UL listed. If you take the ignitor off the HPS ballast it will fire MH bulbs too. I love havin a union electrician as a friend
