    Good luck finding a WRX that is actually in decent condition for cheap, people buy em and kill em and sell em.

    Looking for around 5500 I have a little xtra to spend on parts.

    For $5500 you're not going to get a good car. The cheap ones are high mileage, accident-repairs, and with any sporty car probably beaten to shit (if it's a manual)

    If you live in the 757 there's a big ass subie community, mainly because of "All Aspects" which is the shop down the road from here...stay with me i'm quite blazed. but check out vadriven.com there's all kinds of goodness on there, when im not high ill give you better info i hope
