  1. Hey everyone!
I have been looking for a light to supplement my 3 plants, I am going to grow them in my livingroom so they will get some light (autumn in Europe). I though it would be a good idea to supplement to give the 18h of light for the vegetative stage... Do you recommend something cheap?
I came up some LED bulbs 60W , 2700K, would this be enough for each plant?

    Thank you in advance

  2. Google “Blynx sil” and be amazed at what these folks are reaping with minimal lighting. It’s a 5 year old thread that’s still very active. I veg with 7) 9.5w leds for each plant and transition to a vert setup using 4’ led tubes. Color me happy!!

no "cheap" light would be enough to make it worth having. I wouldnt put anything less than 150 watts on each plant. I've used less than that 90 watts or so and I got about the same amount of bud as in a full mason jar however weight was only an ounce vs 4 ounces with 150 watts. The quality also suffered. minimal light will leave your bud light, stringy, airy, and of poor quality

I supplement a fig tree in a 2x3 window space using 4xHinFlux strips @200W for 1 hour at 6AM and 1 hour at 9PM. I will increase this to 2hr intervals soon. Worked good for the fig tree, it grew over the winter.

IMO use a 50/50 mix of cool white and warm white for correct hormonal growth,

leaving them out is gonna make ya place stink?

more light means bigger plant bigger return on effort?

  6. yes cheapo led bulbs will work great. Just keep them close(within a few inches of the tops).

  8. thanks for the cool white and warm white tip, imma try to find another lamp for the cool white...
    i don't mind the smell ;)
you mean more light in potency or more lamps? (I'm not trying to reach for the max potential of the plants, just to have enough buds for me :p)

  10. Thank you for the advice, they are still receiving natural daylight though... I'm guessing from your answer that if I can find LED bulbs 150w it should be fine?

  11. yea the more watts without causing damage the more potent and bigger, denser your bud will be meaning heavier more weight. not everyone is trying to win a cannabis cup or grow the biggest buds however using 30 watts a sqft or less can give you light, airy, stringy, and not as potent bud almost a waste of time. which i veg for 2 months then flower for about 2 months after four months of work i like to be rewarded with more than a 32oz mason jar full but weak bud equaling a little over an ounce. less light also gets you a bunch of tiny popcorn buds more light you will get half ounce or bigger buds mixed in with lower and inner popcorn buds. that same 32oz mason jar with more light same amount of bud holds 4 ozs or round abouts depending on bud size
