charlie and the chocolate factory

ya im goin to see it in a few hours, should be fun considering im picken up a half O before...

 

when yall get back from it, tell me how it is.. i wanna kno if its worth goin 2 see or not

 

just got back from watching it. it was pretty good. it followed the book very closely. Johnny Depp did a good job as willy wonka, hes really weird in this. its very modern, almost futuristic. overall, i think its better then the first one. the person who did the screenplay has never seen the first movie and all the lyrics for the songs are right out of the book.

 

Im going to see it next week with a couple buddies, we are picking up at least a half-o and possibly some shrooms

 

just saw it, the oompa loompas are beasts, they are fucking awesome.


johnny depp (as usual) was great, and the squirrels were cool

 

had a friend who saw it while on an eigth of shrooms. said it was a very worthwhile expierience.

 

I'm taking my boyfriend to that for his birthday next week!!

I wanna see this movie on shrooms. I guess I'd wait till near the peak of the shrooms (like 30-45 min or so) so that way I can buy my ticket, get a seat, wait out the annoying previews--and then the peak of the shrooms will hit me as soon as the movie starts. And the peak should be done, and baseline should commence by the end of the movie. Yet of course I'd still be high for severel more hours. But it would be awesome to hit peak seeing this movie.


To bad shrooms are hard to come by. lol

I saw it twice... first showing, and last showing after I got off from work. The movie is phenomenal. Johnny Depp is Willy Wonka... I'm not telling you that to let you know he played Willy Wonka, I'm saying that because it REALLY feels like HE IS Wonka. He played an amazingly convincing role(as usual). Everything was perfect. If you think about it, Gene Wilder was too sane as Willy Wonka. Everything made (the candy, the valley) in the first one was too off the wall to be made by an ordinary person. Which is what Gene basically played. However I can believe the Willy Wonka that Depp played would think "Hey... I want a chocolate waterfall. A valley with green, green grass thats candy. You know what? Let's make the entire room candy."

Plus... the Ompa Loompa's were awesome. Personally my favorite songs by them were Violet's and Mike's. Danny Elfman, like always put together an awesome soundtrack.

Although I didn't pay to see it either time, I would of been more than happy to spend the money on my ticket, as well as another persons just so they can see it. Awesome movie.

 

I saw it yesterday, and I loved it!

The Oompa Loompas were funny but not what I expected. I guess in my head Oompa Loompas will always be little dudes with orange faces and green hair.

 

it sounds like such a good idea. me and some of my mates were going to get some shrooms and see it tonight, but playns went awry... (i can't even think of the word) and we ended up not getting them in time. perhaps we'll see it tomorrow

 

my 3 year old wants to see it, BAD!! as long as there's enough candy in it, i think she will love it. ha ha, i can just imagine us being surrounded by all these stoners and shroomers at the theater...
