While searching information and new products on charcoal filters, I came across the charcoal fiber section: http://www.hydroasis.com/hy/items.aspx?id=393&item=charcoal-fiber which is ideal to use? & more futures on it?
no man u dont need that those ones are for high CFM raitings and thay will block your fan if its not as powerfull as those supposed to fit this kinda filters the filter CFM raiting must fit your fan CFM power
You need to run this in series with a "real" fan. I am in your boat right now as I can grow legally, but rather keep it more stealth. They look like this... They don't just move air, but have head pressure needed to push the air past the carbon. I have been fine for now just my using a 120V type computer fan to pump my 6" ducting, but its a no go for forcing it through the filter. I think a typical fan of this nature uses around .8 amps (6" size). ps I said head pressure because thats what we call it regarding to pumping water. Is there a batter term for air?
