Yeah, i'm high right now, but I just thought of something cool. A while ago, they did an experiment with celary. Everytime they watered the celary, they added blue food coloring to the water. After a short time, they had blue celery. So... let's apply this to weed. Could I have some sick us blue or purple weed by adding food coloring, that would be sick. Mind you i'm not growing to sell, so I'm not gonna rip people off by sayin "Yo, i got some dank ass purp" that would just be gay. But I'd think that it would be awesome to smoke my Jack Herer that I'm currently growin but have it be blue or puprose or red or some shit. Anybody think this would work?
pretty sure it wouldnt work in a marijuana plant like it would in celery, mainly because celery is made up of about 90% water. changing the color of the water it requires will change the color of the celery...probably the same with lettuce. i dont think and MJ plant is composed of nearly as much water by percentage... might work though, you never know.
Hey, who knows, maybe we can get a more experienced grower to try it out, would be kick ass to have red nugs, hahaha.
That would be pretty sweet, but it doesn't look like it's gunna happen I'd want some orange weed, orange is my fav color
It was tried right here on the forum already and it failed misserably, so much so he actually tried to die the harvested buds afterwards just to have some sort of color... and trust me even then it didnt look like it should be smoked. you want color? use some phography techniques to show off you buds.
well, that's a bummer that it didn't work. but oh well, it's still a beautiful plant without having to change it so it's all good.
