When it comes to the act of legalizing marijuana we know that it can very well not be legalized till after our times on this earth and what I've come to realize from all these anti marijuana parents is that they are most definitely in a state of denial of this subject and any mention of it will result in you being accused of being a doper/failure/addicted and many more things that are not necessarily true. The uneducated propaganda filled minds of this older generation will never be changed being that they refuse to be changed and from everything I've learned about society is that change doesn't come to the people that are unwilling and ignorant. The fact is majority of the older generation and the ones fully apposed to marijuana clearly don't know and don't care about marijuana, it's properties, and the pros/cons of this plant but if you are caught using it then apparently they know everything about it like how you can get physically addicted to it and have the shakes from your body being fully addicted to it like heroin, or like how marijuana will kill your brain cells and your body. Pure BS and ignorance right? To these people this IS how things will work and even with the facts pointed straight at them it will just go through one ear and out the other like they never even heard it and the selective memory of their ignorance and stubbornness will definitely kick in. If you've been to school any time in your life you'd notice that whenever they'd have the DARE programs or any other anti drug programs you'd not get the whole truth about drugs because they will slide all the pros and anything helping the cause under the carpet so the kids won't learn and know the FULL truth but yet they only focus on the bad and the almost ridiculous claims like saying marijuana will ruin your life etc. etc. just like the anti drug parents and if that isn't connected I don't know what is. Since it's obvious that the government and the schools won't help in at least showing the whole truth about marijuana or drugs in general the regular Joe's like you and me have to make the change by showing awareness of the plant by at least spreading word or the full story behind marijuana to the younger generation. Now all of you are thinking right now that I'm crazy for suggesting such a thing but what I'm asking you to do is not to tell the younger generation to go smoke marijuana all day or anything of that nature but to tell them the straight up facts that the schools won't tell them like how marijuana does indeed have medical purposes and how you can't get physically addicted to it because it does not have any addictive additives in it because it is what it is... A plant. This might not seem like much but the younger generation is the future and if the future is educated and armed with the knowledge we've given them than change is definite because like the thousands that populate this forum we know that marijuana is indeed not this devil drug that will end our lives and destroy the world. Sorry this is so long just to say that one point but I had to get my rant off because the ignorance about this subject that we still have today infuriates me..
