Ive gotten 3 26 watt cfls and they each have 1700 lumens so that they all put out a combined about of light around 5000 lum. So, heres the question....my growroom is 6x2.4 do I have enough light for 3 plants?B4 i had these lights i had a shoplight in that only put out 3200 lumens
it wont be enough for 3 good plants from start to finish. im using 3 26 wat cfls and 1 24" fluro and im only growing two plants ( until i kill the male off) those 3 cfls would be good enough to grow 2 small plants until sexing (one will be a male and be killed) but youll still need a few more lights once that female gets bigger.
5100 lumens for 14.4 sq foot? I don't think so, unless you want small plants that grow slow. I use 14.400 lumens on 8 sq foot. I also tried 7200 lumens on 8 sq foot before that. Check my signature's links and you'll see what I mean. Happy growing!
