Hi all, first timer here trying not to screw up. I've got some pretty decent mid grade and some high end seeds from finding them on backs of trucks etc... I've got the germinating thing down pretty well and I'm now wondering what type of light to use. I'm growing in a close that has 3.5 feet wide and 5 feet high of space... not lookin for a huge greenhouse... just enough for personal use. Which works better? the CFL's that are for growing or the classic tube style design grow lights? not into the bigger light setup yet just trying this out. Any help would be most appreciated -D-
go for cfl's... the long tubes are only good for clones and seedlings.. look into pl lighting aswell.. thats what i'm set up with and they are great.. i use the 36 watt tubes which are about 18 inches long,they are amazing for a scrog grow..
