CFLs lose brightness over Time

  1. Currently thinking of whether I should replace some of my lightbulbs for my next grow.

Energy saving light bulbs get dimmer over time

I could probably just keep the old ones as spare bulbs for my room. lol

  2. That could of been the problem with my T5's. Got any links for good t5 veg bulbs?

  3. I only use the standard spiral CFLs. I heard that fishtank fluorescent tubes are good for weed, though. They're specifically designed to stay switched on all the time, anyway.

  4. Ya I heard that too, my Amare 450 UVB LED's actually have one of those fish bulb's installed in the middle. apparently it stresses the plant out to produce more resin.
