  1. so i was looking into buying just one of these CFL'shttp://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&productId=100687004&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&ci_sku=100687004&ci_src=14110944&cm_mmc=shopping-_-googlebase-_-D27X-_-100687004&locStoreNum=1267&marketID=20 but according to Kamels CFL guide it says that u need about 100 watts per plant..so i would have to buy 4 of these or do i just pay attention to the incandscant equivelent

  2. you want the actual wattage, not the equivalent.

  3. I am running 2 28W bulbs per plant. So far so good. I started the grow with 1 each.

I have one in a 2700 color, and the other in 6500

As the plants get taller, I have some 2ft flourecents for side light.

  4. I had these in my box right off the bat and the plants did grow but it is only 5500k which puts it into the yellow spectrum and not the blue needed for vegging which comes from the 6500k. When I switched to a 6500k my plants doubled in size overnight.
