CFL question?

    No, it isn't a 2700K bulb. It gives off 2700 lumen. It is what's known as a full spectrum or soft white bulb.

    If you want the best possible bulb for vegging, look for a 'daylight' bulb.

    I have 2 100 watt cfls, 1 6500K and 1 2700 on each plant and they seem to be happy.

    Mixing spectrum is fine. I said the best possible color temp is 6500K for veggin. Not that it is the only one.
