CFL light type?

  1. In buying CFL's for my box I noticed 3 different types of CFL's (Soft White, Bright White, and Daylight). Could someone explain the differences in the 3? And which would be the best to use, or which variety?

  2. for the first four to five weeks, you want daylight (because it is in the blue spectrum) And then when you go into flowering, you use Soft White (red specrum)

  3. And should I not bother with bright white? Variety is bad I take it?

  4. it's not bad. it's average. if you can afford it - go for daylight in the beginning and soft white in flowering.

  5. Thanks, I've managed to take out all but the daylight, this should hold over my couple week old sprouts untill I can get some more later this week.

  6. you should post some pics of your setup and plants if u can

  7. Leave them in until you replace them, no sense having empty sckets and while it doesn't use as much of the red spectrum during veg it does and will use all you give it(cause you can't give it as much as the sun which it would like).
