so i dropped one of my 55w CFL lamps and i noticed it looks like some of the white layer inside the lamp chipped away. the lamp didnt bust but that inside white layer of whatever it is chipped away a bit on the bottom. what are the cons to this happening???
its just the phosphor that is painted on the inside of the bulb if you didnt puncture at all i dont see a problem. but then again im not a cfl manufacturer
ah okay. yea im not too worried but figured id ask with such great help readily available here in the city! anyways, i would think if it busted or punctured in any way it wouldnt work.
