As of right now, I have 3 sprouts vegging under a 19w 3000k CFL until I move them outside. I know that it is usually commonplace to use daylight color temperature lights when vegging, but the only daylight lamp I have access to is a 13w. If I switch the the daylight bulb, will it impede growth or improve it?
Six watts of more power or the correct color temperature? Its a good question. I think you should go spend some money on 26watt 6500ks (like7 bucks for 2), and y sockets or what not. 3 sprouts could use more light for sure. Also if you have them in small pots move the sprouts out side during sunny days. But 3 sprouts wont make it far with 20 watts of light regardless of colortemp.
Thanks man. The main issue for me at the moment is I cant really get a ride anywhere to buy more lights so this setup is just for a couple days until i get some healthy sprouts. So for right now, I guess it doesnt matter much.
If you can't get a ride, what I do is order stuff on Amazon. I have a car, but the stores around here don't carry the things I need, so online is a good deal. Unless you don't have plastic.
