So the first grow is underway. I have some bagseeds germinating right now, going to grow with them and test my setup before getting anything fancy. My set up is as follows: 22"L x18"W x34H Box 80mm CPU fan intake 120mm CPU Fan exhaust 2 100W (400W equivelent) CFLs 6500K for Veging 10,000 total lumens 6 6" pots fit perfectly in the box I plan on using organic nutrients and soil, and using additional co2 from. Any advice on what direction to go? Can I flower in my box without restricting the height? Pics to follow
So my lights arrived today and they are absolute monsters! However I have to send them back because they are the wrong socket. I am reconsidering going with that specifc light. Does anyone have any recommendations to efficient CFL Watts/Lumens??
I am way behind from where i thought this grow would be. 2 times in a row 1000bulbs has sent me the wrong lights. I've switched my lighting setup somewhat. I am going with 4 42W CFL's producing a total of 8400 Lumens. I'll have 6500K for veg and 2700K for flower. Hopefully they get the order right this time. I also have some AK-48's and Northern Lights on order. Once the lights arrive I'll post pictures of the Cab and get this thing going. Based on the dimentions does this seem like enough lighting? How many plants should I put it? The seeds are feminized.
2 possibly 3 succesful plants (based off of wattage) 2 plants with some extra space just to be safe I'm working with a similiar sized space.
Well I only have those 4 CFL's and 2 13W CFL's The heat isn't that big of an issue but I haven't started my grow yet. ^^ I only tested the bulbs to see how the heat was and it didn't put off to much. I'll let you know an exact temperature in about 3 days when I have my plants in there and EVERYTHING together in the box.
definitely do, my lights won't be arriving until Wed and just waiting on the seeds. I'm hoping that they make an arrival by the end of next week. Shoot me a link to your journal if you have one. I wouldn't mind checking it out.
