wasup people just wanna post my second grow dis year to top the new one with sum fresh bud if all goes well ima try ta shoot for an oz or more hopefully out of the minimal space & small container i'm growing from cuzz space is an issue right now so...blueWidow strains can reach up to 3 meters high so controlling hight's also gonna be an issue so here's da gig: strain - feminized blueWidow from dinyfem free along wit my last grow . soil - some left over's i had from my last grow sum VioMix & SuperSoil i found at the local hardware cheap too, added sum castings & ah little extra humus. lighting - right now she's under about 80 watts but ima crank it up to about 200. container - 6x5" gonna probly finish her their nutes - gonna use some supernatural's superboost mid way through & during flowering & a little mollases towards her finishing stage. tecnics - just gonna try to top & /or practice sum low strain on it & pretty much gonna give it 7 to 10 days of veggie cycle before i turn her out wit da 12/12 & lastly - heres da sig of dis experiment ima totally trim & butch her along the way so all her budsights get hit with more lighting dis means leaving it wit nothing but her nubs if i have to it sounds crazy but ima frankenstein dis one just for da freak of it... well i think dat covers it for now just thought it be fun ta share this grow so for those who peep it thx in advance....here it is at 2 days from breaking through on tuesday 18 / & da cab i'm growing from....peace out!:smoke:

  7. Dont quote me on this, but I think at some point in the plants life, it uses its leaves as solar panels to absorb the lumens, I wouldnt reccomend going TOO crazy with your pruning, What I like to do is wait until it gets nice and thick, and look it it from a birds eye view to determine where she can loose some weight to open her up. Low stress train the shit out of her, you might as well! Whats your updated lighting set up, looks pretty cluttered lol, but having a lot of lower watt lights, allow you to get them right up around the plant, Depending on your circulation in the box, you should be able to move all of those lights 2" or so closer to the plant. The only time my light is TOO close is when its touching a leaf directly :) Looks sweet so far dude, keep up the work!

thx j... Im up to 260 watts 4 daylight & 8 softwhite & yaa i cant argue wit you on trimming her to much wont leave her much to draw from, it's said that leaves take in a lot of the solar energy for it to grow but sinse i'm experimenting on it i wanna atleast give it a try & see what i can come up with i've seen sum side by side grows that really blew the lid about trimming people harvsting up to 25% more & sum even went through their flower cycle totally bald if i could remember i'd post the link but it was a while ago anyways i'm sure their were drawbacks but i'm hoping to make the most of this grow even if just to learn a new trik or two growing for me has been alot of fun i use to grow bagseed about 20 years ago & had no fugging idea what the hell i was doing could'nt even sex or flower them haha...

  10. How exactly is the plant splitting at the top? I've seen this before but never had any idea how to get it to happen with my own plants.

Still pretty new to it all.

  11. its called topping simply put at about the fourth set of leaves you simply cut right below the base of the new growth like a decapitation straight below the head at the neck careful not to cut into the tiny shoots sticking out from the base of the shoot below from their your two new ones will sprout you'll find plenty more illustrations through the search engine on gc or google....but hope dis helps...
