are the dual spectum(6500&2700k in one bulb) any good for growing? im doing a cabinet grow and thinking of getting either 2x 6500k 45w + 2x 2700k 45w or 4x dual spectrum 45w bulbs. watcha think?
i grew a plant under a 130w 14000k which is duel spectrum and it was an amazing light for seedlings and for a short veg time. cfls are pointless to flower under though..
So its ok to use the red and blue spectrum in one bulbs.for growing? I thought it might confuse em or something. So 4 dual spectrum or 2 of each spectrum 45w ?
Hi. Im using a dual spectrum cfl 300w (LRG) and I'm worried it's confusing my plants, as they reach a certain stage and then become discoloured. On my second grow I'm gonna get a tent and use a hps, any thoughts on this. Hps worry me as I don't wanna burn my house down. The tent means better ventilation, and would make me feel easier bout using a higher, hotter bulb. Common sense tells me blue light for veg warm light for flower. We are trying to mimic nature aren't we?? Happy growing humans.
