I know i keep posting new threads but i cant find anything about this. so bassically do CDs make good reflectors.
Spend $25 and get a roll of 50X4 Mylar... It's worth the money if you want chronic you have to do it the right way.
yup yup! c'mon man, cds?! never heard about that ever being even ATTEMPTED! but shit if you can do it i would love to observe
its pointless me buyin mylar as my space is so small thats why i thought CDs but know one knows if their anygood
They basiclly just told you that if you want better weed just buy the other shit. Cd's would probably work but not THAT well, because light travels through cd's.
there's people on hg420 that did a grow like that, they grew fine, no hotspots.Don't know if it works, or not.Make sure they have a light proof label.Me personally I would just collect some mylar chip bags and use the reflective side.
four coats of flat white looks pretty good even if it is only acrylic ceiling white and not the stuff that you use to paint outdoors wooden furniture with, the moss-proof similar acryclic white. someone told me not long ago that is better, in case of humidity. it can be hard work though doing the painting you could buy a small tin. How small is your space? I can't see that it would be easier for you to attach a bunch of CDs to the wall, instead of attaching some mylar. Mylar is cheap, and if it is a cost issue, use the inside of chip bags. (as sombody suggested earlier) Good luck, and don't skimp it will only hurt your plants in the end.
my grow is only one plant and i could prob do the whole area with 50 cds but i have loads of old ones lying around so i thought i might aswell find out
or go to walmart and get some "emergency blankets", these are made of mylar-albeit very thin mylar. at $1.69 each you could do your whole grow-space with two of them.
