Cause of "Red-Eye"

wrong... ive heard its because of the hairs in the weed, i heard it from a friend so could be wrong

 

i think hairs mean that the plant is healthy...not sure if they do anything to your eyes...i think your eyes turn red because u get smoke in them and they dry up...cuz when i smoke joints and at the end my eyes get mad red...but when i take bong hits i dont really get it...it might be from that

 

Well I know its not cause of the hairs, and i doubt its from the smoke (do tabacco smokers eyes get red?), but to add what i think it is .. your veins get dialted or whatever and relaxed so your eyes get red. I have been mistaken for a demon once while I was stoned

 

i know why it is its because smoking marijuana causes the capilaries in your eyes to expand and break so the redness your seeing is blood. mine dont get too red though just very glossy.

THC dilates blood vessels, reducing the pressure inside the eye (intraocular pressure - IOP), dilated blood vessels in the eye cause its redness.

That's why some studies say its good for glaucoma.

i am the cause of red eye and only i have the powers to get rid of it

 

i have never noticed my eyes getting red from cigs

only when i leave the cig on my lip, and the smoke gets in my eyes have they ever gotten red from cigs

 

do tabacco smokers eyes get red?~~~>yes, they do, when smoke gets into them

Isn't it something to do with thc lowers the pressure inside your causing them to go red? Sorry if someone already put this i skimmed the posts. I'm sure i read that somewhere

 

I have no idea why they turn red, I just know that they do when you smoke.

Mine almost never turn red, even a little pink. The only reason I think why it does that is because i have contacts, dunno though.

 

yeah i have a stoner friend who wears contacts and his eyes don't go red at all, it's amazing, like impossible to tell

 

ive grow a tolarance for the red eyes i think. i never get it that bad anyone. unless i smoke a blunt to the skull for some reason....maybe cuz today is a day that ends in Y lol
