Caught by Police, help

    Hey, so last night me and a buddy of mine got caught up by the police with possession of marijuana. my buddy got caught with about 3gs, a scale, and a piece, then i got caught with just marijuana, a piece, and some papers.

    The real question that i'm asking is, on the ticket, the officer wrote the reason why my friend got the ticket. It was for possession of marijuana (under ten grams) as a minor, it said nothing about the scale or anything about that. Would my friend be charged for traficking too, or should he just be worried about the possession and not the traficking.

    Also, is there anything he should be worried about too? His record is clean and this is the first offense by the police for anything.

    If you didn't get the charge, posession with the intent to deliver, or posession of drug paraphanalia, you didn't get charged for the scale or papers. Since this is your first charge and you're a minor, you'll just get arbitration most likely or a low level of juvenile probation. I'd stop smoking until your charges are cleared up, cause if you fail a drug evaluation, things could get a little more serious.

    I was arrested when i was under 18 for possesion and i had some codeine and pills with me and they didnt say anything about them. I really dont think either of you have much to worry about, probation and a 400 dollar ticket max depending where you live i gues. not to bad....

    The ticket just said, in exact quotes "11357(b) poss. of marijuana less than 1oz." and was classified as a misdemeanor.

    So i dont need to worry about the distributing correct?

    You only get charged with what you're getting charged with. Not that hard to understand. :p

    Now yo need to decide on if you will spend a lot of cash to keep your record clean, or just pay the fine...learn from the experience and be a bit more careful.:smoking:

    I've never understood why people take so much shit out with them when they smoke. whats wrong with smoking joints/blunts when you're out and saving the bong for when you're indoors? Taking a piece out with you is just bait up.

    QFT. rollin around my neighborhood back in the day I always would roll up. way too risky otherwise.
