Hey guys, I applied for a catering assistant position at dobbies in-store restaurant. I don't have much experience within the catering industry but I am very interested. If you guys have any tips for my interview or any help in general post it bellow, Thanks
Whip it out? You're 100% capable of getting hired for that position. Do your research on the company, do your research on potential interview questions, formulate potential answers. Never admit to being inadequate. Always relate back to your past experiences. Establish a rapport with the interviewer. Example: when you exchange niceties in the beginning or are saying goodbye at the end, ask them about their weekend (or something). Find something in common - their favourite item on the menu just so happens to be the same great item you had on holiday once, at a little hole-in-the-wall restaurant.
