I have a dobe... 8 months... he/she was just playing. Cat was being a cat. dobes r very friendly and want to play with anything. They have senses of humor... probably thought it was funny and entertaining. I'm sure there's a lot more episodes of the two... just this one got on tape.

 

looks like kitty is also de-clawed, or else puppy wouldn't have taken so many hits to the face and still kinda look like "...wtf..." Looks like the face-batting along with kitty bein all fast just made the puppy curious. Pissed-kitty sounds are kinda weird too,... even more of a reason to be kinda like "...wtf?..."

aww he's just a pup.......I've kept Dobermans all my life, at this stage they're curious as hell and he's clearly playing, once his attitude kicks in that cat would be history........reminds me of one doberman I had, when he was a pup, smaller than that one in the video, I was out walking him and he seen a cat behind a neighbours gate, so he went up and stuck his nose through to say hello, and the cat swiped a paw at him......now most dogs have sensitive noses and dobermans are no diffrent, it drew blood!..........every time for the rest of that dogs life when I walked him past that gate, he'd look for the cat........one day the cat was there, he was banging his head against the iron bars trying to get to it.......he pulled so hard on his chain that he did a flip and landed right on his back.........that cat wasn't looking so tough that day....lol.......amazing dogs, and extremely intelligent, to the point of problem solving.......the ultimate guard dog.....and the old "juicy steak" doesn't work.......none of my dogs would accept food outdoors, not even from me.........they'll let someone break into your house, they just won't let them back out!........I've seen them stalk, real low down, like a big cat, and once put a paw down on a squeeky floor board and lift it......then put it down somewhere that wasn't squeeky.........Peace out..........Sid
