Carbon Filters/Activated Carbon Question! Please Help :(

Discussion in 'Smoking Accessories Q&A' started by CrassGrass, Oct 3, 2011.

  1. Hi there.

A few nights ago I lent my friend my bong. He put a carbon filter on top of the bong, and a bunch of the activated carbon fell through into the bong. Not noticing this, my friend tried to empty my bong of water and now there's a bunch of little bits of carbon in the percs >_____>

I tried to wash out the bits of carbon for about an hour with no luck. Does anybody know of any way to dissolve the carbon or some other way of getting it out of my bong? I've heard that there are no organic compounds that activated carbon is soluble in. Help????

Thanks in advance for the help.

  2. Your best bet would be to try to run water through the bong in the direction that will push the carbon up and out of the perc.

Thats what I do when carbon gets stock in my circ.

  3. call the carbon man, 1-800-CARBON
