  1. If I'm gonna grow in a grow tent , and do t care about the smell do I need a carbon filter?

  2. No..exaust fan yes because you need air circulation to control temps and humidity but carbon filters are just for smell basically

  3. The plants need fresh air, and they will stink.
An exhaust fan takes care of the fresh air via passive intake, but not the stink.
If you exhaust to the outside, then that's where the stink will go.
If having stinky air exiting from your living space is a problem, then you need a carbon filter.

  4. Stink isn't a problem. So I would need a intake and exhaust fan?

  5. Unless the exhaust fan is weak, and needs help, no intake fan is needed.
In this situation air behaves as an incompressible fluid, and whatever air is exhausted must have also been sucked in thru holes, etc.

  6. Ok that's pretty cool
