allright so i have a 60" x 60" x 80" dr150 secret jardin grow tent with a large square aircooled hood attached to a 400cfm 6'' inline fan pulling the air out. what size carbon filter should i get... and what is a good light weight carbon filter cuz my tent cant take much more weight hanging from it and could i fit a dehumidifyer in it. or is it bad for plants to be close to a dehumidifyer. if its bad is there a way i could have one outside the tent somehow affecting the inside of it.
so you have a 6 inch pulling it out, get a standard 6 inch scrubber. Check amazon. Check HTG supply, all of them have them. Run the scrubber-> light-> out of the tent.
my tent can hold any more weight hanging really. i had to send back a 400cfm phresh filter cuz it was too heavy
How about putting the CF on top of a stand if u can't hang it... U can buy them pre fabricated or easily knock one up yourself. 4 poles and a bit of string. Cross the poles over slightly at the top and rest the filter in there then raise or lower your fan a bit to get it in line. Might take up a bit more room but if your tents already struggling besides adding extra support there's not much else
How about getting a peice of wood, like a 2x12, cutting it to mount the fan on, then putting it on the floor. I think having a scrubber is rather important, so finding a place for it would be a priority for me.
wht about just put the inline fan outside the tent? so that i can hang the carbon filter>hood>inline fan
