I'll be growing in one of those old console stereos. The dimensions are: 25" tall 30" wide 15" deep. I plan to grow with clones from a buddy, and Lowryder from seed. The area I'm growing in is 20"W 15"D 17"W (2.9 ft sq). I'm using a 125w CFL warm. On the opposite side I'll use that compartment to cure/dry the bud. My wife is a teacher, so I gotta be stealth! I've seen plenty of carbon air scrubbers, but they're huge, and not to stealth. I would appreciate any help. The one design I saw looked effective, it used two computer fans but it was sticking out of the top of the box. The air intake will come from circular holes cut in each corner with abs plastic tubes with 90 degree bends on the end. Will panty hose restrict the air intake? How many CFM's will my two computer fans need to be without being noisy, but effective? THANKS TO EVERY ONE
i don't know the size of the scrubber needed, but i do know that the computer fans will be loud enough that she will wonder what is going on in there! gl
A little off topic, but those dimensions sound nearly identical to the mach ones from the 70's I was thinking about growing in. As for carbon scrubber...I haven't come upon a suitable design either. Best of luck. Peace, Mike
