Hiya Fellowblades, Heard a news story on radio this am that they are gona have a car that actually runs on hemp! I would not buy this car, have several friends that run on hemp, they are not dependable!
Well, you can convert hemp into biofuel, just like you can convert corn into biofuel. Just got to tweak the car a bit to use the hemp biodiesel more efficiently. I'm pretty sure it burns at a lower temperature than other biodiesels. And we already know hemp requires substantially less pesticides, if any, to grow, versus any other cash crop counterpart. A car running on hemp, right now, is nothing more than proof of concept and to raise awareness of hemp biodiesel's uses. Hemp is illegal to grow in most of the world, and buying it from CA or the UK is just not a viable means of cost. One day though... Hemp has the potential to be a huge cash crop. Eliminating our dependence on corn.
