Lol yea but sometimes it doesnt lock all the way or you get distracted getting out of your car. Good advice!
My bong was stolen out of my car and my house has been robbed. It is honestly one of the worst feelings and it's violating, I still haven't gotten over my house being robbed a year ago and am super paranoid about getting my stuff stolen. I developed a fear of someone breaking in while I'm home, I'm always bugging out when I hear little noises cause I think some ones breaking in.
Shit yea i know how you feel. I always sketch out when i hear noises outside at night. It's sad when you cant even feel safe in your own home.
If it's not locked that's a big problem. Lock it every time, if it still gets broken into that's an issue. If you leave it unlocked and someone opened teh door and took stuff, in a sad statement of today's world, it's kind of your fault
Lil fucking spoiled white kids who think they are bad ass go around neighborhoods and pull on car doors and find unlocked ones. and they proceed to take things that they don't really want or need.. and sell it for dirt cheap.. WTF is wrong with people. Those items could have had value to the person.. and people just sell that shit for peanuts like little fucking idiots. I'd never steal from a stranger but i would have no problem stealing from people who steal
Put all the windows up and lock the doors every night man. It's really the only thing you can do...It's not like they are gonna smash the window to get in to search for spare change laying around, that's out of their league. Unless they plan to hot wire your vehicle, which I highly doubt they got the balls to pull off.
I don't think purchasing a gun is a proper response to a petty theft. Start locking your doors and make sure that your change/valuables are out of sight, don't give them any reason to pick your car. Even that isn't foolproof. I caught someone breaking into my car right in front of my house, I ran him off and called the cops. Then my car window gets busted the next night. Some people are just inherently shitty.
One of my good friends used to steal from cars, that is until he had a gun pulled on him and was arrested. Just saying if you could scare the shit out of someone to not mess with you again
Car got broken into three times this year alone, I called the cops and they gave me a case number for insurance purposes. They never came to my house just did the report over the phone. In my case it was 500$ in deductible to get my shit replaced my shit cost about 100$ so not really worth it to make a claim to homeowners or auto insurance. since I removed the stereo from the dash and hooked it up in the glove box, and do not keep any valuables in the car.

Sure, the victim could've been negligent and put themselves at risk for crime, but that doesn't mean it's they're fault that someone couldn't respect their property regardless of whether it's locked.
I live in a pretty shit area where the cops are just a fucking joke. They patrol during the day and only take calls for noise violations at night. Best part is we have a serial killer on the loose who kills during the day, the best they have done is put up a picture of a person of interest still no suspect, our cops fucking suck.
