Welcome to Cap's glass collection! After several requests for me to start a thread to highlight some of my collection, I put some of my reservations about doing it aside. I want to note that nothing in this thread is or likely ever will be for sale. This is my personal private collection and I have no intentions on parting with any of it. This thread is merely my attempt to "pay it forward" to all of the other glass enthusiasts, collectors and the average forum browser who just enjoys viewing the artwork the glass community has to offer. I have a lot of collection still to photograph and a lot of new items that I have coming that I am very excited about, so feel free to stick around. And now... enjoy Japanese Blood Oni themed dish with Naginata and Katana dabbers by Aussie: Nice little roor lean back model I picked up a few years back. The percs are all located in the same hemisphere so they will all still percolate even when your kicked back on a couch. Toro 7/13 and Mobius Reti Bubbler w/ TI nail. Dome by Freeek: This is a 2012 slyme dome by Freeek I picked it up a few months ago as a nice new accent to my mobius reti. I need a smoke break before I continue.... Consider this the intermission haha [All new HD photography... stick with me while I learn how to use my light box and macro lenses!] Slides by Salt: Anteater slide: This slide is unique as SALT ears are a fairly uncommon feature on his pieces. This is what drew me to this purchase, the coloring is phenomenal and the teeth are amazing. Hammerhead: I simply had to have this when I saw this thing in person, some of the best coloring I've seen - amazing transitions and loved the overall design. Green monster: The eye, I simply had to have this piece for the eye. I've spent hours of my life lost in the eye of this sitting on my 7/13. Extra close up of the eye... from me to you GC... Smoke one and just get lost in some of these SALT eyes. So there we have it, things are kicked off! I hope you enjoyed the first peek into my collection. great collection man, love those salt slides but that slyme dome is my favorite looking forward to the rest!

Thanks man, yeah I've seen the ones on @TL they are awesome. I'm really waiting to find something really unique by SALT for my next addition from him. Word. I think so to Thanks, yeah I get entranced by that thing. There is so much more depth to it that is lost in the photograph unfortunately. Back from the show, nothing really caught my eye. A lot of local aspiring artists with mediocre dry pieces and dime a dozen bubblers. One artist's work caught my eye but didn't have anything in the area I was looking for. Time for a dab or two
Do you have any worked tubes aside from your RooR.? Edit: relooked at your first pic and finally figured out it was the ash catcher that was worked.
Yeah that's just the inline on the RooR that is worked, it was done by a local artist. I don't have any fully worked tubes, mainly because I have been waiting to find something special and opted to get scientific glass for my tubes first. I am however looking into adding a fully worked tube in the very near future, an idea I had that I will be having commissioned... a "Where's waldo tube" featuring as many mibs and millies that can be fit on the thing, one of course being waldo. That is probably still a few months out as I am still debating between artists for the job. Seeing as I have the toro 7/13 and the Mobius reti bubbler (that can swap for oil or flowers) I am leaning toward having it done as an oil rig.
^Yeah, I've seen a couple dope ones online. 1 of Salt's sculpted tubes would be dope. Really like them.
Yeah there are definitely some real dope oil rigs being blown right now. Chunko did a real dope glow in the dark one on boro, I've been drooling over it for a few days now, if it had waldo on it I'd of put a bid in haha.
