Can't wait for the dubstep phase to be over

  1. Turn your speakers up as loud as they will go, and honestly tell me that this is something that you despise.

  2. how about you show some examples of why you think that instead of blurting out your opinion like it's fact

besides, you're wrong and you sound like a hipster lol

very spastic and upbeat, "drumstep", this shit is art, it's hard... but how is it any different from any other aggresive genre? I think it blows that shit out of the water. Vibe on those wobbles, it can take you to a fucking incredible place if you let it

Ever heard of Break Science? They are a live band that incorporates dubstep into their improvisational jam-genre music, with a touch of hip-hop influence. THIS is the future of music

  5. To say that an entire genre is crap, is to misinterpret the context of which it is to be enjoyed. To each their own, live and let live. Opinions will always be opinions, there will always be someone who likes what you don't. Be thankful we don't all like the same shit, what better would that make anything? Be thankful for this crappy genre of music that I can't get enough of

  6. sit back, listen to the youtube videos i posted, if you like them, cool.

If not, shut the fuck up.

  7. Just for good measure, a great drum and bass tune with an amazing build. Drum and Bass is the father of dubstep

    Blast it

  8. Actually, in this case it's just to listen to the actual music involved and realize it was produced by and for spastics.

    Aw heeeeeeeeeel naw.

I can't wait until a few years pass and this shit is deader than disco. Maybe we'll get Spor back.

Also if you think DnB is the "father" of dubstep you don't know what the fuck you're on about. Maybe in the loosest possible sense.

  9. Enlighten me.

  10. disco was around for...how long? Dubstep, the combination of UK garage and 2-step grime, has been around for 11 years. It's only now approaching unfamiliar ears, there is a wide range of possible sounds for the genre, and if you don't like it, stop bitching. Some people do.

Maybe you should enlighten me, given how little sense that statement makes. Dubstep might have taken some influence from DnB but if it has any direct paternity it's clearly 2-step.

Two genres that sound nothing alike generally aren't that closely related

Or not. As long as shit music exists people will be there to hate it. Best get used to it, son.

What happened to DnB being the father of dubstep? You're saying it's actually a combination of UK garage and grime now? Get your shit straight.

  12. The rap phase has lasted like 30 years so far? Yeah you're gonna have to change your expectations OP

  13. I'll let the music speak for itself. In the sense that it is all bass music, dubstep adopted many of the bass wobbles that originated in jungle music. I won't sit here and preach genres because honestly it's all relative. Ears can tell more than words can in this situation. Listen or don't, honestly I don't care. Just offering my input on the thread

  15. "All bass music"

Jesus Christ. I'll let that speak for itself.

  16. That oscillating bass is enough to tickle your pancreas, if not, I blame one (or more)of things:
    1.) You are de-sensitized
2.) Your sound system is shit
    3.) You need to toke

  18. epic meme xD

  19. I love dubstep

  20. If you think or want anything as beautiful as this to go away anytime soon, I'm genuinely sorry you feel that way. Dubstep is so versatile, don't shun it, embrace it, the possibilities are endless
