Can't Open Griner

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by jt233, Nov 25, 2011.

  1. So I have 3 piece grinder its got the top part to grind the bud the middle part to catch all the finely ground up weed and then the kief collecter on the bottom. So about a week ago I go to use my grinder and its all wet and slimey on the bottom like mold had grown on it from sitting in water, although I don't know where it would have come from since it was sitting on top of my dresser. So I wipe it down with a cloth thinking its clean but now I can't get the bottom part open I try to unscrew it but it won't budge like its to tight. I don't think I have any pliars that would be wide enough so Ive only been able to use my hands but Can't get a good grip. I can use the top and middle parts though which is good. So does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks

  2. You sir are a fail.

  3. Jam something in the crack an pry it. Wash it real good after. If that doesn't work...well.... You're fuked

  4. it should open with enough force, just keep putting pressure on it till it unscrews

  6. ^Soooo funny!!

Anyways my grinder is pretty much sealed at the bottom too, just tap the bottom of the grinder, might help out.

  7. That's happened before when it grew mold in mine from a little wet weed i left in there...hit it...submerge under cold/hot water try to jam a blade in the groove...and just plain use brute force it should go, its only stuck from the mold. Once you open it, it wont be pretty i suggest you iso wash for days repeatedly, boil and scrub until its spotless...if you can't you might just have to ditch it, I had to throw away a space case because of mold.

Ugh my fucking girlfriend makes this mistake everytime she says it and idk why but it really irks me lol!

To OP or anyone really, why is there mold? This really confuses me I've never found mold in my grinder. What am I doing right/differently to ensure there's no mold. I want to know so I keep doing it

  9. Thanks for all the replies guys I will try them out.

  10. Try using a vice grip to hold the bottom while you unscrew it.

  11. Lift some weights and keep trying

HAHAHAHAHAHA So fucking funny man. I laughed for 30 minutes straight I have no clue why.

  13. Go to wal-mart and buy 2 cheap pairs. Use 1 to hold the grinder and 1 to twist off the bottom.

Works like a charm everytime!

Well I've never had that happen, but I have one of those cheap three piece magnum/bullet grinders, and when I wash it with iso then rinse some water gets caught in the massive space under the kief chamber, and I could see that getting moldy with the right conditions.

  15. I wish I could figure out why there was mold the only water that could have gotten under the grinder would have been bong water since its the only water I had in my room but I never spilled any. Its def a cheap grinder that I can from some smoke shop that has the lakers logo on top so maybe that's part of the reason.

  16. remember friend

    lefty loosy
    righty tighty

  17. Mine gets done up too tight sometimes, you could try shutting it in a door then usually it'll work because the door will hold it tight in place while you turn it. I've never had the mold thing though.

  18. no but seriously if it isnt because of the mold you might have cross threaded the bottom part and that could be what is causing it.
