ive been out of work for a month and it SUCKS! ive gotten opportunities to work at some places but i smoke bud everyday thus making me a pretty sure shot to fail any drug tests ... does anyone know of any jobs that dont drug test?? any retail store, supermarket, etc .. anythin like that. thanks for the help!
I would never work there but check the industry most of the times the job sucks but it gets you some $$ and you need that so why cry about a little durty or boring work ?
You may want to hold off on smoking for awhile if there are jobs available that drug test. The job market is scarce right now and you should probably take and hold on to whatever you can get, even if it means not smoking for awhile. Unless your set and just want the extra money.
It's not permanent, but it's very easy to get a telemarketing job these days. Not that I want to advise that anyone has to work in the hellhole of a supermarket, but Publix is an option..They'll mouth swab, so three days without the tokey toke. You'll want to pull your toenails off though, beware.

I've never heard of a restaurant/fast food place drug testing... other than that, it's hit or miss, depending on the place... You could get clean for a month, that opens up lots of job possibilities. But I did that in order to get a job (3 months for me actually, that's how long it took to me to finally get a job) and then I ended up getting hired at a place that doesn't drug test. :-| But my tolerance was that of a noob after that t-break.
Ive been looking for a job for almost a year. Oregon has one of the highest unemployment rate in the country, and it sucks!
been out of school for a year now. had a seasonal job doin taxes now im back to lookin for a job. i had one, but admitted on the background check that i used marijuana, auto-disqualification and that was after i stopped smoking for a month to pass the piss test. anyway, some govt jobs dont test, anything where u don't need clearance. what about temp agencies though? i'm thinkin i might call up a temp agency but i dont wanna if theyre gonna just piss test me.
Word. It seeeriously sucks. I got my last 3 jobs on craigslist, around portland-metro places and whatnots. But lately even craigslist doesn't have any good job ads
