  1. Hi,

I started to grow about 6 months ago indoors with soil and it has been hard keeping the plants alive during flowering, I can't seem to figure out what is wrong with them.

The bottom leaves keep yellowing and drying up, at first I thought it was nitrogen deficiency, so I upped the nitrogen concentration. (I am using organic fertilizers, I was using the NPK ratio for AN Orgainic line as references, but I thought I might have mixed up the ratio) Then I thought it was magnesium deficiency. But it still seems to get worse every day. Can someone give me some advice? thanks.

  2. First thing that comes to mind is pH.
Second thing that I would address is Phosphorus deficiency.

  3. Thanks, pH I believe is okay, but after I flush, should I just do the regular ratio or regular ratio plus some additional phosphorus?

  4. check the runoff ph
you are using flowering nutes? I wouldn't imagine you need more than what is suggested. I would use bloom nutes which should have enough K&P to help your plants.
There's beneficial organisms that can help with phosphorous assimilation, like Great White (comes to mind, but expensive). Something to look into.
Also, make sure to let your plants dry out properly. If the roots become waterlogged, the plant will most likely suffer and possibly die.

  5. Hi.
I've taken the advice and flushed the plant, then gave it normal nutrients, the yellowing slowed down but didn't stop. so I was wondering if this still looks like Phosphorus deficiency? Thanks a lot in advance.
