  1. I was wondering what fellow heavy smokers' views are about religion. I smoke everyday and I have become convinced that religion is an invention of mankind. If there is God, he is on a completely different intelligence level, and most likely not how people on earth think of him. Think about it, with all the different beliefs, how can we even begin to think there is a God that watches and judges us. Obviously something is wrong. It is too craazy an issue but I really belive that mankind was meant to live in the nature, how we were many years ago. We are starting to crowd this earth...a species gone out of control. If you look at nature...man its like a life force. It lives just like humans...birth, death, rebirth. Obviously we are all part of something. I dont know, I need a few years to figure it out.

  2. organised religion is a means of control, telling us what to believe instead of letting us make up out mind about it, i believe a lot of the buddhist ways but i would not call myself a buddhist, there is good and bad points in every religion, pick and choose what you believe and everything will be A-OK

  3. Im Catholic

  4. i beleive along the same guidelines as you. like everything else, religion and god are manmade.

  5. i like a lot of the eastern religons, just beacse it was more of a way to live an enlightend life, but if i were to say i belived in anything, it would be earth, and all its plants and animals
and water, cause thats what nourishes us, thats what we live on survive on,

  6. im not associated with any religion but i am spiritual, and believe in some form of god.

  7. You don't leave any room for the religious that aren't a set religion. I'm basically Lutheran, but I have some beliefs from other areas. Many religions can be reconciled nicely with christianity.

  8. I don't beleive in god in the sense of a single, sentient diety. But I do have a weird feeling that there's a lot more to "reality" than human beings will ever be able to see or understand.
