Cannabis Sativa Rosa

  1. When I was in high school I remember my one teacher saying that marijuana is part of the rose family. I know its a flower, but to think that a juicy bud is meant to have some similarity with a rose flower is a bit hard to grind over. They have so many structural differences and so on... 
     
    So if any of you guys know the answer to my question let me know.. PLEASE

  2. Cannabis is in the family Cannabaceae, which is in the Order Rosales. Each subdivision of the plant kingdom includes plants very different from each other. For example: Hops, used for brewing beer, are also members of the Cannabaceae family, but separate into the Humulus Genus, instead of the Cannabis Genus. The higher up you go the hierarchy, the more diverse the plants within each classification become.
