Cannabis Cup!

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by stevenab87, Oct 29, 2011.

  1. Hey all i'm from Chicago and will be in Amsterdam for the opening of the Cannabis Cup on Nov. 20! I've been on a tolerance break for about 2 weeks now. Should I keep it going until I go to Amsterdam? Im looking forward to trying some of the best bud ive ever had! If anyone else is gonna be there, hit me up!

  2. Thinking about it, thats a long ass time to not smoke for....

  3. Nice man! Have fun. I'd say smoke a lil, just so you don't pass out or get lost or something while you're there haha

  4. yeah thats probably a good idea, i could get paranoid being totally baked in a foreign city. i would also call it more of a "i dont have any weed break" than a tolerance break haha. my connections sucks and random dudes on streets of chicago are sketchy lol.

  5. I bet, but it's good that you're trying to walk a safe path. Were the tickets expensive, or not too bad for what you're gonna experience?

  6. its actually a completely lucky coincidence. i'm flying to turkey for vacation to see a friend who moved their. and my flight back to the states just so happens to have a 24 hour layover in amsterdam during the first day of the cannabis cup. talk about some awesome luck! you can buy a judges pass for like 250 euro which lets you go to all the coffeeshops and sample there entries in the cup. but you can get in the expo center for like 40 euro i think.

  7. I envy you! I get a boner just thinking about the cannabis cup.

  8. has anyone been to amsterdam and have tips/suggestions??

  9. I'd use the difference of 210 euro's for getting my own samples from the coffeeshops which are all open to everyone anyway.;)
It's a nice meeting place of like minded people of course, but the cup itself is mostly just a 'somewhat' commercialised show.
Have fun in our little country though, that can surely be done!:)

  10. stevenab87, don't go to any of the Bulldog coffeeshops. Only go to the low-key ones.

  11. thanks for the tip buddhist, recommend any specific coffeeshops? fyi im 24. thanks.

  12. Sounds awesome man.. You should take some pics and upload em here I bet there's some awesome stuff to be seen over there
