Cannabis Allergies ... ?

    Has anybody experienced increased allergies when harvesting their plants?

    I've always had spring/fall allergies. But I've also smoked herb for 10+ years. This is only my second year growing, though. And whilst I thought it was a coincidence last year, it seems that when harvesting (especially outdoor) buds I get brutal allergies. Can't stop sneezing. Itchy throat. Dripping nose. It's crazy.

    I'm looking forward to my next indoor harvest to compare, and see if it's as bad. But I've had to come to the brutal conclusion that I may be allergic, to some degree, to this plant that I love. Or at least to the pollen. I did find a few stray seeds in my outdoor buds, so I suppose there was some pollen present (damned if I know the source).

    This is a bit ironic, to say the least, given how much I enjoy the stuff.
    Can anybody relate?

    EDIT: perhaps this is more suited for "general," but I only experience this, to the best of my memory, when harvesting.

    It does happen! And cannabis pollen from hemp fields has been noted as far as 5 miles from the crop.:frown:
