OK so I wanted to know what temperature each cannabinol vaporized at.....
I searched the Wiki and sometimes finding the research's results, but I can confirm these temps are all valid......
    Per reliable online resources..... ;)

So I wanted to make a thread which is going to be useful to me personally as a reference, and hopefully others too...
Then as I or others find stuff useful related to the topic, please feel free......

Looks like everyone vappin is not getting THCV, cause no way I could hit a 220C / 428F bag or whip....

    Other things I've found interesting......

  2. Loving it. Will show this to my mom, who's generally also interested in these types of things (just not the idea of inhaling anything, let alone smoke, through the lungs).

  3. Well in my option and tests have been shown it's no more dangerous than breathing treatments' vapor...
Then the healing properties of the cannabidiol enters the bloodstream quicker through the lungs...

So in my opinion, win, win for me..... :D

  4. Ya, but everything which is creditable is kind of scattered around....
After hours of searching, what I was finding, and if confirmed accurate, I'd add it to my notepad... :D

So I just want to pull it all under one roof (if ya will)....
ALL confirmed accurate information, and then I'll keep adding to it..... :smoking:

  5. I just took a look at the material flash, I believe it's 449˚F. I think this because Volcano vaporizers go to 446˚F and have an accuracy of +- 3˚F, and they strictly keep it under or at flash temp.

  6. Ya, I could be wrong on that flash, but of course that depends on the vaporizer you're using, I would think anyway....
Because I can get to the flash point with a lower setting in my Volcano, than say my Extreme Q...;)

The digital volcano goes to 500F, as does the Extreme Q....:D

  7. :confused_2: I wouldn't know, I haven't used any of those. I've seen a Volcano at a headshop, but that's as close as I've got to one

  9. When it says CBD reduces function in the immune system, am I interpreting correctly by assuming its easier to become sick?

  10. Yeah, other things that reduce function in the immune system: cold temperatures, working out too much, stress, sugar and alcohol.

  11. Hey Yosh,
Everything I'm reading, outside of "Joe & Jane Blows" giving opinions says combustion starts to occur at 230 (446F)..

    Science News........
Marijuana Vaporizer Provides Same Level Of THC, Fewer Toxins, Study Shows

Here is NORML quoting a study from the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies....
NORML / MAPS Study Shows Vaporizers Reduce Toxins in Marijuana Smoke | California NORML

So I got to stick with "combustion starts to occur at 230 (446F)"........ ;)
Where did you read it starts at 231.6 (449F) and was it a creditable source of information???

  14. In your first post, you said that you couldn't achieve a temperature high enough to vaporize THCV. (428 degrees F)

But then later, you state that the digital Volcano can go up to 500 degrees F. That should be enough to get the THCV...no?

  16. Noooooo......;)
Can you "quote" me where I said that :confused_2:

    LMFAO......................
There is NO WAY I can hit any one of my vaporizers set to 428F / 220C without choking my ass off....
And I bet there is no way you can either without choking your ass off........

If I want to choke, I'll just roll a joint, and save the thousands in the money I spent for the vaporizers....;)

Oh and I own a Volcano, Extreme Q, Vapir NO2, and Magic Flight.....

  18. I use my EQ frequently at 432F with no choking. But I do elbow pack, so it is a little farther from the heat element. I have gone all the way up to 450F.
