Canna-oil and Acne

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by Nate489, Nov 25, 2012.

  1. Anyone ever tried it? I figured since thc was antibacterial it would work....and it does! I had my gf put a tiny dab on a zit and within an hour the redness was all but gone and the next day it was a lot smaller.

it would make sense... try mixing a little oil with a gentle cleanser, like cetaphill (first thing i can think of that a girl might have) that would probably be a great zit killer!

try coconut canna oil? something that doesnt clog pores...

  3. Ive taken the oil thats left on my dabber after taking a dab and put it on zits, cuts, burns anything really. Oil is very powerful stuff. You can make your own topical from cocnut oil and cannabis and that will work. Look into other extracts and such to add too.

But yeah, the oil is amazing!

  4. I did make it with coconut oil thats why i said canna-oil and not hash oil :)

Its great stuff for scars too. Faded a few scars i had on my wrist from work

  5. Where was this shit years ago lol. I went on Accutane when I was 15 and still to this day I think it did some long-term damage on my body.

  6. Probably did. There are a lot of lawsuits for it. I know IBS is one of the effects from it, i have a friend who got it from taking it as a teen as well.

  7. Dosent oil cause acne? But yeah cannabis is as good a topical medicine as it is a smokeable.

  8. Not all oils. Coconut will not clog you plus its a great moisturizer for skin too

  9. The team of scientists said “endocannabinoids” are important in regulating lipid production and may therefore be useful in the management of problems such as acne and dry skin that are associated with sebaceous gland dysfunction.

  10. I would assume a regular rso type regiment would cure acne one, for the glandular regulation like you said but also the anti-bacterial properties of thc and other cannabinoids i would assume would help. I know doctors prescribe certain antibiotics for it.

I used it as a topical solution and it worked great.

  11. yes ingesting the oil heals the whole body including the skin, which is the biggest organ. You could also mix the oil with natural creams to put on the skin.

  12. Cool thread guys.

  13. I use lotion now with hemp seed oil in it and it is by far the best i have ever used. Reduces redness of any skin irritation plus it lasts for at least 12 hrs and i have overly dry skin(thanks to genetics)
