I was growing the strain Candyland last summer and they got fried in the heatwave we had, sadly they died. I cut them down to the dirt. Are you sure a seed wasn't dropped? I've only had that happen with a hermie plant I had a couple years ago. Had a plant pop up right in the middle of the grass in my back yard.

It's been just over a month since this plant started to grow again... Last year the plant had started to bud when we had a long heat wave and it died. I cut the stalk down to the soil and left it. This spring this plant started growing. Can a plant start growing from the roots? This looks like marijuana but have not gotten any real fan leafs yet. Does this plant look "right"? Yeah, while a weed plant will indeed grow back if you cut it down to nothing but 1 growth site....thats not a weed plant
