Wanted to share my current grow. Candida CD-1 (CBD strain) in a 2’Lx2’Wx4’H cabinet I built. This will be somewhere around the 6th plant grown in it. Bump for info. Has anyone had success using the original Blumats? I see a lot of info about the Tropf, but I’ve just got the standard.
She jumped up quick this week. Topped her and moved her up closer to the lights. I (accidentally) bought a LUX measurement app and it looks like she wasn’t getting as much light as I thought. I’m considering taking off the CFL’s and just doing veg under the HPS. Heard of a few growers having success with that method.
Did some LST last night. So far this strain is staying very short. Should end up being a nice little bush. Here she is this morning recovered from the LST.
Today is 31 days since sprout. I’m thinking of flipping her this weekend. I will be using a new light for flower that takes up a lot more space than I’m used to. Don’t want to run into a bad situation if she decides to REALLY stretch.
Switched her over to 12/12 and swapped the cfl’s for hps. Idk why, but when I try to take a pic with the hps on it creates these black lines across my screen. Kind of annoying but easy enough to kill the light and use flash.
Felt like showing off. Added a new exhaust with carbon filter. DIY from a “lint trap kit” made for a clothes dryer

Very nice set up! Did you know your air-pots are backwards? The holes are supposed to face out and the "nubs" face in. Believe it or not, better results if the pots are correctly assembled. I should know, I did the same thing! Also, to prevent leaking out the sides when watering, you have to really pack the soil down good and make sure it's in all the nooks and crannies. Happy growing!
