Canadian Cultivation laws?

  1. Hello, I'm just curious if anyone knows the current laws for Cultivation within Canada? I've searched quite a bit and can't find any information.

Can you lose your house if you are caught growing? Even if it's only a single plant, and there is no structural damage to the house? What about if you grow inside someone else's house without their knowledge? What about plants grown outdoors? Is it possible to claim ignorance if caught with a single plant outdoors?

What is the maximum/minimum sentence you can recieve for first time offense?

Is there a point at which it becomes more serious? For example, is growing 1 plant the same as growing 100 sentence-wise?

If you are clearly only growing for your own personal/private use, does that make it less severe?

Also, does the severity of punishment vary from Province to Province? Which Province has the most laidback laws?

Thank you so much in advance for any information you guys can provide.

  2. if you get caught:

1: they cannot seize your house unless they can prove you paid for it with profit from the grow

2: depending where you live in canada it can go from a fine upto 2 years in jail, but like i said depends on where you live, each place has diff tolerencies for this , the most laid back provinces are bc and quebec, this is why most of the weed exported from canada comes from these 2 provinces, the worst id have to say would be alberta/mid provinces, they just dont seem to have a big tolerance

  3. personal = under 6 plants im pretty sure here in canada which = much less jail time fines:hello:

  4. Thanks for the quick replies. I don't actually grow, I'm just curious what the risks are. Seems like it's a lot better idea and less risky to grow a few plants as opposed to buying it from random people every few weeks.

I'll have to take this into serious consideration..
