I am using the Lucas Method and because i cant get a certain brand of Cal Mag or the general Hydroponics PH Down shipped over from the US I am forced to choose a different option. But will using different Cal-Mag and PH down brands not mix well with the General Hydroponics Flora series nutes? Or doesn’t it work like that. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
No need to stick to one brand like that. I use flora nova bloom, Lucas formula. I use botanicare silica and CalMag, generic pH down. They all play well together. Would this work? - Flair Form CMX Calcium, Magnesium and Iron additive 4-0-0. Would upload pic but for some reason in this app for IOS you cant move the keyboard out of the way to get to the Icon which adds pictures. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
More information on CMX: CMX contains 6% calcium, 2% magnesium, 0.2% iron EDDHA (NPK 4-0-0) and all essential trace elements (copper, zinc and manganese as EDTA, molybdenum and boron). its ok, but its high in nitrogen so it won't be good in late flower; just be aware of that, looks good otherwise, nice to see they added traces in there.
Other than the N, it looks like a great product. I like the added trace elements. But as Trojangrower said, it'll be too much N in flower.
