Can you tell me what's wrong?

  1. I know nothing about growing. These were left to my by a buddy who had to leave the country. He's been growing these plants outside for 2 or so weeks before he gave them to me. I have had them for about a week.

The leaves look a little yellowish, some of the leaves have curled down and have a brownish tinge to them.

    Medium used is organic compost.
I water them once every 2 days, I leave them outside most of the day and check on them in the morning before I leave for work and again when I get home at home at night.

Sorry for the image quality, all I have with me right now is my phone. Anyway, any insights would surely be appreciated.

  2. Looks like a deficiency. My seedlings started out the same way. They got much better after I transplanted them so maybe try that. And dont use those clear cups cause they mess up the root system of your plants.

And make a good soil mix. Check out the organics forum for info. Start with good compost, vermicast, and mix those in with good soil or coco coir. I know there are tons of coconuts there in surigao so shouldnt be hard buying some. :)

  3. Thanks, man. Will try everything you said.

You know Surigao? Have you been here? :D Sorry for the OT

  4. Definitely transplant within the week. Those containers are way too small and probably dont have enough nutrients in the soil.

Yeah, I absolutely love surigao! I recently came back from a surf trip in Lanuza. My idea of paradise! Haha! Im from the Philippines too. Negros to be exact, no consistent surfnspots here though. :/

And oh, I scored really shitty weed a few towns before lanuza.(forgot the name, starts with a C) Worst ive tried and you know how bad the weed is here in the P.I. Haha! That's why I decided to grow my own. Hopefully do a better job than the farmers here. :)
