Can You Sing In Tune?

    Shit's hard as fuck dude lol. I can't hit a note to save my life. Doesn't stop me from trying at times like these when the music is blastin' and I'm a drtinkin'! It is still fun even if I suck at singing. Is it possible to get better or are some people juist programmed to suck at singing lol

    I actually have a cousin who made it to the top 20 of American Idol a few years ago. Shame I should be able to sing :p My fad can sing really well too 
     
    I am trying to sing along with really loud surround speakers playing Sum 41 (All Killer No Filler) and blink-182 (TOYPAJ, Enema, Dude Ranch and Cheshire Cat/Buddha). I can hit some of the notes, but others it's like agh. Lol I recorded myself on my webcam and I cringed at some parts.

    A bit pitchy in places but definitely way more in tune than I can sing. I think the quality may have been playing tricks on my ears, too.

    I think it's a solid song but really horribly recorded.  The guitar and vocals were recorded through a shitty practice amp.

    Depends on the tune...Mostly punk though, and I mean, it is punk...Not like they sing in tune or anything most of the time anyway so fuck it. :cool:

    This is what I thought, the tune sounds good though...Vocals are too quiet, fuck about with equalizer settings or something to try and bring it above the guitar licks.
     
    Cause honestly, I like you...But I couldn't really understand a word you were saying. :cool:

    I'm pretty sure I can sing in tune, but only when i'm a solid 8 or 9

    Enough to not embarrass myself completely but I don't really know anything about music except for I make up stupid songs while I'm doing stuff around the house or driving. Usually about what I'm doing at the time. Anyone else do that?

    I couldn't carry a tune in a wheelbarrow if I wanted to....
     
     
    When I do sing it"s in the truck, in the hills, far away from people, If you were to hear me sing you'd be scarred for life.
     
    And that's on a good day.  :D

    Anybody can learn to sing in tune, with the right instruction, and practice.

    I can sing certain types of things and have it sound pretty good...and other types of things sound like absolute shit lol.

    Almost everyone in my family sings well, except me lol. if I get a few drinks in me I loosen up and can sing a few songs but I'm the suck compared to my cousins and other family.

    I have a really deep, relatively monotone voice so...no. I can sing country extremely well but country music makes my ears bleed and my soul cry.
