I have heard its fine but you have to make sure its the right conditions outside and you are careful with the transplant. BTW I have never done it i just read way to much .
Yup, it's fine. I usually start my seedlings inside and move them outside around this time for a May/June harvest.. (Living in the SE, US) Good growing -HL
Like herbandlegend said, start them inside and wehn the time is right, move them out. Just make sure it isn't all shitty out with some crazy storm going on. By startig them inside, you can get em nice and strong so it the first part of their life isn't so tough.
