Can you grow Marijuana with regular CFL light bulbs?

    I'm a total "noob" coming to a first grow for experimentation purposes.

    I tried growing outside, but after 5 days of my newly lifed plant got ruined by unforeseen rainstorms.

    I want to grow, badly, but I live still with my parents. Can regular CFL lightbulbs grow 1 plant? I'm not factory farming these, just one plant is fine.

    You'll want 100 Watts of actual Watts to grow a plant. You might get away with 80watts

    Also make sure you have the 6500 for vegging and 1750 for flowering.

    I'm thinking about telling my parents but don't known if they'd be cool with it. My bro has had his card for years too and he hasn't told them

    you could but if you are going to go that route you could buy HPS security lights that run at 100W equivalent to 450W. you will get way better results during flower. and you can get them at home depot. they do put off a little heat but with the trunk setup with the fan that would get rid of that no problem.

    Would you suggest getting a 400 or smaller because of the area size?
